The game has two main playable characters CHRIS REDFIELD and JILL VALENTINE story kicks of when a Group of S.T.A.R.S members a special RPD tactical team was send to Arklay Mountains to investigate murders when their helicopter crashed and they were left to fight of a bunch of Undead dogs and escaped into a Mansion located in the outskirts of Raccoon City which was filed with Zombies and bunch of other B.O.W( Bio organic Weapons) including the main Boss the Tyrant.
There were total of 5 main characters in the game i am not including the characters that died .
Chris Redfield: STARS ALPHA TEAM.
Jill Valentine : STARS APLHA TEAM.
Barry Burton: STARS ALPHA TEAM.
Rebecca Chambers: STARS BRAVO TEAM.
Albert Wesker: Captain of STARS
The graphics were ok for the PS1 at that time but it did not stop people in enjoying the game.
Later they released the more gorier version of this game that was called THE DIRECTORS CUT that had more gore.
